Meru's political and religious leaders have called for fair and non-violent Jubilee Party nominations.

Speaking at the Cathedral Church on Sunday, Senator Kiraitu Murungi and MPs Rahim Dawood and Florence Kajuju (pictured) said they would not wish to see chaotic scenes as witnessed in the ODM exercise.

Ms Kajuju (Woman rep) said Jubilee, being a popular party in Meru, should conduct credible primaries to avoid discontent among leaders and supporters.

"We love the Party so much and thus need a credible process."
