City governorship aspirant Peter Kenneth has settled on a former civic leader as his running mate.

Linnet Mirehani, a former Kilimani councillor, has actively been holding rallies with Kenneth. Mirehani, also an activist, vied for the Dagoretti North parliamentary seat in 2013 on URP ticket but lost to current MP Simba Arati.

Mirehani has accompanied Kenneth to most of his campaign meetings, including a Sunday service at House of Grace Church in Nairobi where he introduced her as his possible running mate.

A month ago, at ACK Church in Pumwani, Kenneth introduced Mirehani as his deputy governor-to-be.
