National Olympic Committee of Kenya to endorse new constitution

The National Olympic Committee of Kenya gets down to a make-or-break meeting this afternoon to endorse a new constitution aimed at streamlining it. That the International Olympic Committee has sent two of its high-ranking officials demonstrates the world body’s seriousness to resolve the impasse over the constitution.

From the back-and-forth correspondences between Nock and IOC, it is clear there has been engagement on both sides, culminating in a new constitution the world Olympic body wants endorsed pronto to pave way for local elections.
