James Musyoki quit as Kenyan Premier League and Tusker chairman for fear of being suspended by Football Kenya Federation.

Musyoki is one of the four officials that FKF had opened charges against and was facing at least a five year suspension.

“Musyoki was given two options by FKF to either resign or face a long ban. He opted to quit,” said our source.

Apart from Musyoki, the federation has also opened disciplinary charges against Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier, Mathare United chairman Bob Munro and KPL Chief Executive Jack Oguda. The three are expected to appear before the FKF disciplinary committee next week.
