Weatherhead Coach Vincent Kasasa has said that lack of fitness was his club's major undoing in the ongoing continental hockey championships.

The clubs representing Uganda in both the men and women’s contest have failed to impress, with the men’s side securing one win over their Ugandan counterparts Wananchi in pool A.

The women on the other hand found the going tough and have lost all their pool A matches. “My players are not fit enough and that has contributed to the poor results, we also lacked ball possession. We are going to work on all our mistakes,” he said.
