Juventus left-back Patrice Evra could make a sensational return to the Premier League, with Manchester United keen on re-signing the France international.

Evra was sold by the Red Devils in 2014, and rather strangely, his game has never declined, despite his age.

The 35-year-old has been one of Juventus' most impressive players, defending the left flank with great poise.

Despite his stellar form overall, Evra faced great difficulty defending Suso during the club's Italian Supercup final loss to AC Milan, and it is said that the club have no qualms over letting him leave when the transfer window opens in January.

If that is to be believed, a host of clubs will be lining up to attempt to sign the lovable star, yet he is said to prefer a return to the English top flight.

Jose Mourinho also recently suggested that certain players would have never left the club if he had been the one to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson three years ago, and Evra was among the names mentioned.
