A church faithful in trouble after botched witchcraft attempt

A church faithful in Lwakhakha, Bungoma County had to run for her dear life after her attempts to bewitch church faithfuls was thwarted.

It is alleged that the woman had secretly carried one of her panties and threw it into a large sufuria of meat that was being prepared for a congregation that had gathered for prayers. Unknown to her a young girl happened to witness what the woman did and blew the whistle alerting the church members.

Their worst fears were confirmed when they stumbled on a panty in the meat delicacy. Very furious and agitated by the act they attempted to attack her but she escaped with no trace as she quickly disappeared into nearby bushes.

Church faithfuls then launched a man hunt to her place but she was nowhere to be seen. This act left the faithfuls murmuring in hushed tones as the woman had been deemed as the staunch faithful by the cleric.

"This woman has been a serious church member and we didn't expect any of this," said the cleric. The church has since deregistered her following the incident.
