Kenya Ports Authority men’s volleyball team say they are focused and determined to win the national play-offs when they serve off in Mombasa from November 25 to 27 at Makande Indoor Gymnasium.

Team coach-cum-player James Ontere said a lot will be at stake given they lost to the other three teams in the league series before the play-offs. “It is not a very comfortable situation for us but we want to turn the tables on our opponents and prove their win in the league were by fluke,” said Ontere in an interview.

“Playing as a coach and also as a player is a great and exciting experience and I am ready to guide my boys to victory,”
