In yesterday's edition of The Standard, we reported that Ben Gethi, a key suspect in the National Youth Service scandal, had sought to drop his lawyer.
We have since established that it was not Mr Gethi who made the application. Instead, lawyer Joseph Wagara applied to withdraw from representing Gethi.
We regret the inadvertent error and apologise to Mr Wagara for the embarrassment caused.
