What we can learn from Dr. Otuoma’s retreat to ODM

The move by Funyula legislator Dr. Paul Otuoma to go back to his mother party Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was long anticipated. Coming from a county considered an ODM zone in the country it was a suicidal political path he had taken earlier together with ODM former secretary general and Budalang’i law maker Ababu Namwamba.

The funny thing about our politicians is that they make political decisions based on their personal needs while ignoring voters who voted them into that particular seat. However when voters who in their knowledge and the feeling of betrayal turn hostile to politicians, they change their minds retreating back to their political affiliations they once ditched.
