Nairobi: Nyamira Senator Kennedy Mong’are has taken over the mantle as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman following elections in which he edged out his Kakamega counterpart Boni Khalwale.
Mong’are got 6 votes against Khalwale's 3. Khalwale now remains an ordinary member of the committee which was viewed as active in interrogating county expenditure during his tenure.
