Madam Charity and Wiper look nice together, hope they stay so

NAIROBI: Ooh, what a beautiful symphony of brotherhood it has been, seeing Madam Charity, the Lands minister, hugging former VP Kalonzo, better known as Wiper.

Their new-found friendship – I’m not entirely convinced their friendship is quite new, although this is the first time they are exhibiting it publicly – has simply been infectious.

To be fair to Wiper, who is normally seen as indecisive, the best exemplification of that being the shape of his hair, and Wiper’s frantic efforts to cover the bald patch in the middle of his head, he appeared very decisive this time round.

He swiftly stepped forward and vowed to defend the honourable Madam Charity when she was first charged in court with abuse of office.

Wiper even said he was ready to defend Charity in court, although I have never seem him in court representing anyone for as long as I can remember.

It didn’t take long for Charity to return the favour when she rallied to Wiper’s defence when he was accused of appropriating public land belonging to the National Youth Service.

Some killjoys say this friendship between Charity and Wiper will only last as long as their legal challenges are on, and fizzle out once either of them is cleared.

I verily hope their friendship will survive because they look fabulous together.
