Church calls for sobriety during alcohol raids

The Catholic Church has called for sobriety when raiding alcohol dens and premises. Archbishop Peter Kairo said although the church supports ongoing crackdown on illicit and unregulated alcohol, it did not support the method employed by government agents and politicians.

This follows a recent raid organised by Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu where property of unknown value was destroyed as youths went on rampage and drinking spree.
