Three people killed in grisly accident along Nairobi-Narok highway

Narok, Kenya: Three people were killed Thursday morning in a grisly accident at Ntulele area along the Nairobi-Narok highway, after a truck ferrying wheat flour lost control and veered off the road.

According to witnesses, who spoke to The Standard on the scene, the truck belonging to Road Star Company was headed to Narok town from Nairobi when the accident occurred.

“I was among the first people to arrive at the scene where I found two people already dead and one was asking for help. We successfully pulled him out of the mangled vehicle but he succumbed to his injuries,” said John Kamuiro, a witness.

Narok Police Commandant Abdi Galgalo said they suspect that the truck could have hit a pothole before veering off the road, killing the three occupants.
