Guards from a private security firm in Nakuru County are crying foul over alleged unlawful dismissal from work.

They say they were sacked after objecting to salary delays and welfare neglect by their employer.

After their plight was published in The Standard on Saturday, four guards were summoned and ordered to surrender their uniforms and also explain why they took their complaints to the media.

Intercity Secure Homes security firm's Manager Sammy Murige declined to comment on the issue.
