Elders ask MP to respect governor

Elders from Emurwa Dikirr constituency have called on their MP Johana Ng'eno to respect and work with Governor Samuel Tunai. The elders faulted the MP's unrelenting attacks on the governor and pledged their support for Mr Tunai.

Speaking at Tumda yesterday, the elders' spokesman Transmara East sub-county Peace Committee Chair Elijah Soi said all political leaders from the county should shun divisive politics.

"We want to call on our MP to stop the unnecessary attacks on the governor. He has been peddling false accusations against the county leadership. We want our leaders to complement each other," he said.
