Kilemi Mwiria’s team proposes new pay for non-teaching staff

NAIROBI, KENYA: Non-teaching staff in secondary schools will soon be paid a salary of up to Sh41,000 if the proposals of the new education task force report are adopted.

The Kilemi Mwiria-led team called for rationalisation of the number of non-teaching staff based on student enrolment and the number of streams per school.
