NAIROBI, KENYA: Homabay Senator Otieno Kajwang' on Thursday came out fighting to fend off allegations that he issued 500,000 crucial documents illegally during his tenure at the Ministry of Immigration. Kajwang' dared the Majority Leader of the National Assembly, Aden Duale, to publish all evidence to prove the allegations.
"He has said that I issued over 500,000 permits, citizenship certificates and passports. I want him to publish each and every passport, work permit, citizenship certificate that I issued irregularly giving details of what was irregular about the issuance," said Kajwang' at a news conference at Parliament buildings.
