Police forced to fire teargas at Uhuru Park to calm down the crowd

Nairobi, Kenya: The crowd gathered at Uhuru Park for the Saba Saba rally were getting unruly forcing the police to fire teargas and shoot in the air to try and calm them down.

The crowd seems to be mixed with hooligans and genuine supporters, but so far the police have been able to calm the situation and restore order.  Meanwhile Businesses were also affected as several traders in Nairobi and Kisumu opted to close their shops fearing violence and looting from demonstrates.
