Paperwork error delays plea for accused cannibal Alex Kinyua

An administrative mistake has postponed a plea hearing for a college student who told authorities he killed a man and ate his heart and parts of his brain.

Harford County Assistant State's Attorney Christopher Smith says paperwork to have Alex Kinyua transported from the state's maximum-security psychiatric hospital to court for Monday's hearing "fell through the cracks." The hearing was rescheduled for Aug. 19.
