African Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson Moussa Faki has praised Botswana for its peaceful and transparent general elections held on 30 October 2024.
In a statement dated November 1, Faki noted that Botswana has remained a leading democracy in Africa, demonstrating effective governance through regular elections since its independence in September 1966.
