How soap operas ruin your perception of real love

As children, fantasies were based and shaped by heroic stories of legends like Luanda Magere and other folk stories told to us by our grandmothers and grandfathers at the fire place.  

However, today very little of this generation's childhood experience is drawn from children's story telling, proverbs, fables, songs and drama of their own making. Instead we have Nigerian movies, Mexican soap operas and other television programs filling their minds with fabricated images and themes.
