Fresh wrangles have erupted at The National Alliance (TNA) party offices in Nakuru after a faction emerged to claim the branch leadership.

The group, led by Abdul Noor, stormed the party office in Milimani estate on Wednesday and ousted a faction of interim officials led by Harrison Muiruri for what they said was lack of proper leadership and arrogance.

Dr Noor, accompanied by a group of party supporters, accused the Muiruri-led team of making the party dormant in the county and locking members out of the office.

The ouster took place after TNA Executive Director Joseph Maathai failed to show up to resolve the wrangles, as he had promised. The Muiruri group was endorsed by the party headquarters early this year.
