Two teachers killed after matatu collides with lorry

Kwale, Kenya: Two madrassa teachers died yesterday morning after the vehicle they were travelling in with their students was involved in an accident at Taru, along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway.

Mahmoud Abdillahy, who survived the crash, said the two teachers, Ahmed Ali Uthman and Said Ali Uthman, were sitting next to the driver of the 14-seater matatu as the group made its way to Maulid celebrations at Mackinnon Road when the crash occurred.
