A 60-year-old pastor has claimed that past calamities in the country could have been prevented if Kenyans had taken his prophesies seriously.
Benard Njeru (pictured), a pastor with the Full Gospel Church in Embu, told The Nairobian that God had showed a number of tragedies in a vision, including the killings in Mandera in December, which claimed more than 36 lives. He says the intelligence apparatus in the country ignored his warnings.
“On December 7 and 10, I had a vision in which I saw people arming themselves with crude weapons and preparing to attack the country. It was revealed to me that the attacks would happen in Mombasa and northern Kenya. I reported the matter to an intelligence officer, but he instead told me to inform the Nairobi head office,” he claimed.
Njeru, who was once a District Officer, now wants the clergy to repent and lead Kenyans in seeking God’s forgiveness to avoid further catastrophes.
He also claims to having foreseen the many fatal road accidents, collapsing buildings and the 2004 Tsunami that killed over 250,000 people in parts of Asia.
