Man pleads guilty to defiling underage boy

 

A man was found guilty of defiling a 17-year-old boy. Edwin Livondo appeared before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Joseph Karanja and pleaded guilty to the charges.

The court heard that on January 5 at City Park Forest along Limuru Road in Parklands, within Nairobi County, Livondo dishonoured the boy.

He was also charged in another count with committing an indecent act with a child contrary to the law on similar dates and place. 

Meanwhile, two company directors John Mburu and John Mwangi were charged afresh for jointly conspiring  to defraud Bernard Gachie his land worth Sh3 million. The two allegedly committed the offence between September 14, 2009 and May 3, 2010. They were also charged with forging a document on unknown dates and place within Nairobi.

The two were accused of forging a Githunguri Constituency Ranching Company Ltd Register entry number No 1770 under the name Gachie Kamau for parcel of land number 3758 purporting it to be a valid register issued by Githunguri ranch.

Stupefying

They denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Joseph Karanja and are out on bond. The case will be mentioned on January 14.

In the same court, Gloria Cherono was charged for allegedly stupefying Daniel Machechu on December 22, 2014 along Dubois road, Nairobi and stealing a Sh2,000 mobile phone from him.

She faced other counts of stealing Sh52,000 on similar dates from Machechu. She denied the charges and was released on Sh100,000 cash bail and a bond of similar amount.
