Germany-Kenya bilateral relations

German Ambassador Andreas Peschkewhen he paid a courtesy call on Standard Group CEO Sam Shollei Tuesday at the group’s headquarters on Mombasa Road, Nairobi. The newly-appointed envoy pledged to strengthen economic ties between Kenya and his country. He noted that Kenya’s economic potential has huge prospects for German companies. He vowed to work on enhancing development co-operation in the health, water and sanitation, renewable energy, agriculture and education sectors, among other priority areas, which provide opportunities for business and investment. Mr Shollei appreciated the existing friendship between the two countries and expressed hope that the cordial relationship would be strengthened to benefit citizens.
