Mourinho reportedly steals shovel in training ground

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly nicked a builder's shovel as part of a training ground spat.

The Special One is alleged to have grown increasingly frustrated by the conduct of builders at the club's Aon Training Complex at Carrington.

According to the Sun on Sunday , Mourinho was left angered when workmen continually used training cones and flagpoles to mark their work site.

The Portuguese, who has had a string of heated encounters throughout his career, reportedly stormed off with a spade in his hand claiming: "If you take things of mine, I will take things of yours!"

A source allegedly said: “The installation is causing friction for Jose because of the amount of people and mess. He marched on to the building site and ordered them to stop ‘taking my stuff’.”

New pitches are being installed at the training base by order of former boss Louis van Gaal.

The contractors working on the site are said to be "furious" with Mourinho.
