The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (Nock) has moved to re-assure athletes that money is not a problem in the wake of scathing criticism by team captain Wesley Korir.

Uasin Gishu County has committed to cater for local allowances for the 56 track and field athletes while Nandi County have offered Sh1m for men’s and women’s rugby 7’s teams.
