Tottenham are poised to step up their interest in Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez.

The Londoners are considering turning to the 20-year-old in their January search for more firepower to support main striker Harry Kane.

Barca academy product Sandro has emerged as an alternative target, with Spurs facing difficulties landing either West Brom’s Saido Berahino or Michy Batshuayi of Marseille in the winter window.

Sandro has been on the White Hart Lane club’s radar since scoring against them in the Next Gen series in 2012 and boss Mauricio Pochettino - who used to coach Barcelona’s other’ club’ Espanyol - is a fan too.
