New Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp spotted enjoying Friday night out with locals in city centre pub

Jurgen Klopp was only confirmed as Liverpool manager on Thursday, but he's already getting to know the locals.

The charismatic German coach was spotted out on Friday night having a drink on Hardman Street in Liverpool city centre.

And Klopp's fellow drinkers weren't shy about approaching him.

With the majority of Liverpool 's first team squad away on international duty, and no match to take charge of this weekend, the new Reds boss decided to spend his time getting to know the fans he praised so highly in his press conference.

The 48-year-old even posed for pictures while enjoying a pint of Stella at the 'The Old Blind School Pub'.

Klopp's latest antics are likely to endear him further to a city that has already welcomed him with open arms.

The former Dortmund manager won more than a few supporters with his passionate and hugely impressive first press conference.

Speaking about his decision to join Liverpool, he said: "I love football and the intensity of football in Liverpool is very good for me.
