Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero denies banning Gor, AFC from all city stadia

Nairobi, Kenya: Governor Evans Kidero has issued a statement correcting an earlier one saying he has no capacity to immediately ban Gor Mahia and AFC clubs from playing in the city’s stadia with effect. He however, maintains that a ban is being considered.

Kidero said the county lost property valued at millions of shillings in the chaos that broke out in a match between the two clubs at the Nyayo National Stadium.
