Arsenal fans’ heads explode as players shine

As the international break kicked off with a handful of friendlies, Nicklas Bendtner, Lukas Podolski and Mesut Ozil all enjoyed eventful evenings for their respective countries.

First up was Bendtner, who scored not one, not two, but three goals for Denmark against the USA to give his side a 3-2 win.

Second up was Ozil, who wore the captain’s armband for Germany for the last 25 minutes of their clash with Australia after stand-in skipper Sami Khedira was substituted.

A completely unexpected night was then sealed by Podolski, who netted a 81st minute equaliser for Germany to level the match at 2-2.
