Natural Viagra harvested from deadly ‘spider' gives men four hour erection

Brazil: The fangs of a Brazilian wandering spider can either kill its victim - or leave them with a very painful protrusion.

Scientists have made a form of natural viagra from the venom of a spider whose bite leaves men with a stonking four hour erection.

Dubbed the "love bite spider", the Brazilian wandering spider can kill a man in just two hours - or make him die of shame over a longer period.

Now experts have successfully isolated the compound in the venom which helps men stand to attention without sending them to an early grave.

Scientists have previously tested a chemical in venom called PnTx2-6 on mice.

Whilst this compound certainly gets the the rodents feeling randy, it has the unfortunate side effect of congesting their heart and lungs.

But new research has further refined this chemical into a less dangerous one called PnPP-19, which has all the uplifting qualities of the venom, but none of the downsides.

Experts managed to use this newly discovered substance to give mice great big erections.

In a research paper, scientists from the Federal University of Minas wrote: "These findings make it a promising candidate as a novel drug in the therapy of erectile dysfunction."

Earlier this year, a mum had the fright of her life when she discovered a love bite spider hiding in a bunch of supermarket banana.

Maria Layton, 43, opened a bag of fruit she bought from Tesco to find they were infested with eggs which she believes are from the Brazilian Wandering Spider.

She said her husband bought the 'nanas - and it would be ungallant to comment further on that statement.
