Men provoked by minis are empty-heads who need redemption

Is there a stupidity convention going on in downtown Nairobi that intellectual people have not gotten a whiff of?

I am talking about stripping of women on the streets. In the past, women could wear virtually anything and the worst they could experience was some heckling.

All of a sudden, people are taking matters into their own hands! Following the latest incident by touts, I had to check if there was a full moon that was maybe turning people into werewolves hence the irrational behaviour.

Nairobi touts have hit an all-time low.

Just when I was beginning to think they couldn’t possibly stoop any lower, they pulled a fast one on me. I am at awe really. They have completely outdone themselves! It takes a special kind of slow-wittedness to resort to such despicable act of barbarism. The kind of slow-wittedness that can only be found in a matatu stage, where all variations of ‘stupid’ assemble. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few illegal substances had a part to play in this drama.

Isn’t it ironic that it is the dregs of society who have accorded themselves the moral authority to bring perceived offenders to book for breaching their notion of decency?

It is rather hilarious that they, in their retarded glory, deem themselves fit to undertake this ‘noble’ cause. In which parallel universe do we allow scum of the earth to have a say in the regulation of society?

But it is not really the touts I have a bone to pick with. They don’t know any better. It comes with the job description. The people who have made me red with fury are the enlightened lot who are rallying behind these hooligans. It is an abomination.

The reason you are sitting in an office and they are hanging on buses is because you have a better reasoning capacity.

You have no right whatsoever to call yourself a learned individual if you subscribe to such diabolical ideologies.

There is no justification for degrading a woman in such a way.

None whatsoever!

It is rather heartbreaking that a man of high calibre (or at least we thought so) can take his ignorance and air of importance on national TV and unequivocally proclaim his support for such savage acts. It beats common sense.
