Besides the fact that he comes from a Nigerian family of royalty and wealth, his music has put him high up in the continental map. Recently, he was expected to perform at the Tanzanian fiesta and it was during his transit through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport that he met former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.
He even took a "funky" photo with him. In the photo Davido and his friend Sinarambo were seen posing as he wrapped his hand around Hon. Obasanjo's neck with the caption "Baba".
The president then wrapped his hands around their waists and tried to 'smile' for the camera. His fans were excited and even commented and showered praise on the former president. Talk about hanging around power!
