Beware of fake online doctors, KMPDC warns

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) has raised concern over the growing number of online platforms where individuals pose as medical professionals.

In a statement on Wednesday, January 29, KMPDC noted that fraudulent activities on these platforms dispense questionable medical advice and treatment, putting public health at risk.
KMPDC Chief Executive Officer David Kariuki urged the public to verify the credentials of anyone offering medical services.
