The ICT ministry wants MPs to set aside Sh290 million for the construction of constituency innovation hubs.

Principal Secretary Sammy Itemere said the innovation hubs would offer free working space to innovators and create jobs for jobless graduates.

He said the Government had partnered with the Kenya Private Sector Alliance and the Rockefeller Foundation to implement the project, but that there was need for more investment.
