This stainless steel non-stick porringer is designed to cook delicate sauces. It features a lower pan which envelopes the upper saucepan in water, thereby maintaining an even temperature to prevent the burning or curdling of sauces, custards and even porridge and oatmeal, and the burning of foods such as scrambled egg.

 The set includes a 16 cm saucepan with a thick encapsulated base, plus a 14 cm insert with a rounded bottom, vented toughened glass steam lid, and cool touch riveted side handles. If you opt to hand wash, its non-stick features allows for easy cleaning without the need for unnecessary soaking and scrubbing. You can use the pans separately as cooking pans. It costs Sh5,000.
