The national women's football team, Harambee Starlets head coach David Ouma has hinted that three players have been scouted by the Spain sides as the team climaxed rounded up their weeklong tour in Spain.
Ouma however remained silent on the names of the payers and clubs saying there is need for further discussions before releasing the names.
“It’s true three of our players have been scouted, however we will not release the names before we hold further discussion with the Football Kenya Federation(FKF) management for the way forward,”
The team has been in Spain, had received invite to feature in the annual COTIF women's International Tournament and finished fourth in the six-team.
At the same time, Harambee Starlets succumbed to hosts Levante 2-0 in a friendly match played on Tuesday morning in Spain.
Maria Rocafull and Levante captain Sonia Prim scored in either half to award the hosts the win which there using as a build up ahead of the new season.
Commenting on the performance in Spain,Ouma said: “We are happy we recorded two wins in the event, but above all that we got chance to play in such tournament where we picked important lessons that will help us in future assignments.”
The national team which was scheduled to jet back in the Country on Wednesday will now turn their focus in the Months CECAFA Women Senior Challenge Cup to be held in Uganda later in September.
The team is using the events as a build up ahead of the forthcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) championship between November 19 and December 3 in two cities of Yaounde and Limbe in Cameroon.
