Muthaiga female cop tried to strip me- Teacher

Vincent Mutunga was accused of damaging a car windscreen valued at Sh16,000 belonging to Henry Macharia.

A city court was left in stitches after a teacher accused of damaging a car’s windscreen claimed that a female cop attached to Muthaiga Police Station attempted to strip him naked.

Vincent Mutunga was accused of damaging a car windscreen valued at Sh16,000 belonging to Henry Macharia.

The prosecution said that Macharia was driving from the city centre towards Huruma area when the incident happened.

It is alleged that the accused hit the car’s windscreen with stones in the 3pm incident.

According to the driver, he heard a loud bang at the rear of his van, prompting him to alight to find out what could be wrong.

It was then that he reportedly realised that the rear windscreen had been damaged.

The accused allegedly attempted to escape but was restrained by the public.

When asked about the incident, Mutunga told the court: “I smashed the vehicle’s windscreen because I was angry. But this female cop at Muthaiga Police Station where I was taken attacked me and even tore my clothes in an attempt to strip me naked,” claimed Mutunga.

He will remain in custody until May 2.
