Members pile pressure on ODM to hold polls in Nairobi

Members of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) are pushing for elections to pick Nairobi County youth leadership. They say failure to conduct the poll could cost the party votes in 2017. “The positions of youth and women leaders were subjected to elections much earlier.

We want a transparent and inclusive process,” said Stephen Mukabana, who is eyeing the position of ODM Nairobi County youth leader. He warned that some MCAs were already scheming to grab crucial youth leadership positions in the party to gain an edge during party primaries next year.
