Mother of hospitalised Garissa terror attack victim dies

The mother of a Garrissa University terror attack victim still in hospital has died. Josephine Waitherero's family believes she succumbed to depression due to the state of her daughter.

Her husband, Julius Gikonyo, of Gathaithi village in Kahuro sub-county, said his wife died over Christmas.
