Days after the mysterious disappearance of Tom Alai, his body was found at the City Mortuary. Tom Alai, the brother to controversial blogger Robert Alai was reported missing on Thursday last week.
The sudden demise of Tom had been preceded by a post on Robert Alai’s Facebook post on Sunday 29th November which in part read;
“I have an APPEAL. My brother - Tom Alai - has been missing since Thursday 26th November. He was last spotted at the Kinoo stage on the same evening (around 7pm) crossing the road from the National Oil petrol station.
He was REPORTEDLY knocked down by a speeding motorist while crossing Waiyaki Way. Witnesses report that the motorist then drove off with him claiming that he was rushing him to hospital…..”
The search for his brother came to an unfortunate end yesterday, Monday 30th Nov, when his body was found at city mortuary.
Robert Alai confirmed this on his social media account.
“Found the body of my brother at City Mortuary. He was dumped at Gitaru by a motorist after being hit by the same around Kinoo.”
