KQ passengers with no e-visa printout risk missing flight from September 1

NAIROBI, KENYA: National carrier, Kenya Airways on Thursday informed passengers to have printed copy of electronic visa before boarding effective September 1 or risk missing flight or entry to Kenya.

The warning follows government’s move to embrace electronic visa application effective September 1, 2015.

The new rules were first announced on July 1, 2015 and the Kenya Government gave a grace period that expires on August 31, 2015.

“Effective 1st September 2015, Passengers may be denied boarding of their flight to Kenya or denied entry to Kenya if they do not have printed copy of their e-visa with them,” said the Airline in a statement.
