Kamba MPs unhappy with Jubilee action

Elected Kamba leaders are said to be unhappy with the manner in which the Jubilee administration is treating their people in the Government.

They have reportedly resolved to unite in fighting for the own kin.

More than 20 MPs from the region converged for what they termed "a family" luncheon, expressing their displeasure.

Sources close to the Friday, closed-door meeting said the leaders took issue with the Government for what they termed a calculated scheme to "kick" Kambas out of holding senior positions.

It is said the leaders cited the removal of CS Charity Ngilu, anti-graft boss Mumo Matemu and Transport PS Nduva Muli as part of the wider scheme to isolate the community.

"We were here as a family. It is purely a lunch meeting, you will be told more at the opportune time", said Mavoko MP Patrick Makau and his Mbooni counterpart Kisoi Munyao when pressed by journalists.

But Makueni MP Daniel Maanzo was categorical that "touching" the Kamba sons and daughters in the Government would be met with necessary opposition.
