A 101-year old man has been rescued from the rubble in Nepal a week after the earthquake struck.

Funchu Tamang was pulled from beneath his home yesterday and miraculously only suffered minor injuries. He was airlifted to a district hospital around 50 miles north-west of Kathmandu, said local police officer, Arun Kumar Singh.
