Ruto: Officials must heed President’s directive irrespective of their status

Deputy President William Ruto says directive on corruption by President Uhuru Kenyatta must be implemented.

Deputy President William Ruto said Friday that the government will not relent on the war against corruption in the public service irrespective of the status of those involved in the graft.

Noting that all public servants entrusted with public resources must be held to account for their use, Mr. Ruto asked them to exercise a high degree of integrity to ensure that the resources entrusted to them are used for the benefit of the people.
