Two legislators support controversial security law

Two legislators have said the new controversial security law does not contravene human rights.

Machakos Town MP Dr Victor Munyaka and Yatta MP Francis Mwangangi asked Kenyans to verify the contents of the law and avoid being incited by politicians.

"We sat for hours amending the bill's contentious clauses to ensure the adopted law does not curtail the rights of Kenyans," Mr Mwangangi said.

They were speaking when they attended the county's interdenominational prayers held at Mutituni market, presided over by Archbishop Timothy Ndambuki of African Brotherhood Church.
