Taita Taveta elders rally behind the Security Bill

Taita Taveta Council of Elders have supported the controversial Security Law (Amendment) Bill 2014 saying if passed, they it would deal a blow to terrorism. The process should not be politicised, criticising the opposition for not supporting the proposed laws that would  protect Kenya from outside aggression.

Speaking in Mwatate during the thanksgiving for Mwasima Mbuwa Welfare Association on Sunday through its chairperson Ronal Mwasi said: "The proposed laws should be supported by all. It will empower security agencies in confronting threats to national security."
